History:
Mickey's is one of the oldest operating bars in Madison. It was built in 1902 as The Yahara Hotel, serving mostly factory workers in the area. (More history will appear here in the near future.)

We have daily drink specials, reasonable prices, potent cocktails and damned good bloody mary's!
Food:
Mickey's now has a kitchen!
We have, what was described in the Isthmus as, "elevated bar food": daily specials and soups, salads, chili, burgers (including a great veggie burger and the much loved and recommended Mickey's Burger), sandwiches, grilled chicken, pizza, mac & cheese and more.
We've won the Isthmus ad hoc chili committee's informal chili contest in the Isthmus.
The menu and some of the prices have since changed ever so slightly, but you get the general idea, right? Anyways, it's best to just come in and have a drink while you peruse the menu. |
